Euroval Increases its Turnover by 36% in the Last Fiscal Year

Euroval closed the year 2016 with a net turnover of 9,088,308 euros, 36% more than the previous year, revalidating its upward trend in the sector. During the 2016 financial year, 34,626 reports have been carried out, the total amount valued has reached 25,767 million euros, an amount that represents an increase of 34% compared to the previous year.

Our services have been mainly aimed at financial institutions, which have concentrated 77% of the work, followed by companies and professionals with 14%, public administrations with 8% and the remaining reports being distributed in other types.

Regarding the type of assets valued, the valuation of homes (50%), the valuations of industrial buildings and premises (9%), the valuations of buildings (8%) and land (5%), expert appraisals (7%) and valuations of rustic properties (2%) continue to stand out.

The Use of Technology is Growing in the Appraisal Sector

It is perceived how technological advances are increasingly present, with an increase in requests for valuations of automatic models or AVM of 175% compared to the previous year. These valuations have been carried out mainly for investment funds and important national financial institutions such as BBVA, Banco Santander, Sareb or Banco Sabadell, among others.

With regard to the geographical distribution of the valuations carried out, the activity is mainly concentrated in the Mediterranean autonomous communities. Catalonia is at the head of the ranking with 19% of the valuations carried out, in line with 2015. It is followed by the Valencian Community, with a significant growth of 50%, representing 18% of the valuations carried out. In third place is Andalusia, which represents 17% of the valuations carried out and, as in Catalonia, is in line with respect to the year 2015. Finally, and in fourth place, is Madrid, which represents 10% of the valuations carried out.

Euroval Climbs Two Positions in the Valuation Ranking

This growth has been reflected in the ranking of companies recently published by the Spanish Association of Value Analysis (AEV) and in which the company has improved its previous position in the table to eighth place, which represents an increase of 35.6% compared to the previous year.

According to the president of Euroval, José Vázquez Seijo, “this upward trend confirms our strategic plan that foresees doubling our turnover figure in the next three years”.
